Happy New Year!

We did it folks!!! We made it through anotheryear...or just about. 2008 has been a rough one for most of us. Ithas been for me no doubt...my son got robbed at gun-point, my car gotbroken into, my house got robbed, my jewelry and laptop gotstolen...okay, I know it's ugly right? It's enough to suck thejoy out of my life, but no way! I'm healthy, my family is doinggreat, CVR is still here...lol.

I'm going through a cleaning phase now ever sincethe robbery. I'm cleaning drawers, cupboards, changing roomsaround...in the process I've found some old pictures, letters, notes,cards...not to mention POETRY. I used to write on EVERTYTHING, oldbills, napkins, you name it, I've found one-liners, paragraphs,manuscripts, letters to my unborn children...lol! Here's something else Ifound...it's an old picture of a ship. I took it in Jamaica, Black River, St. Elizabeth to be exact. The interesting thing is,this ship has been wrecked for YEARS...it's been leaning on its' side (theway it appears) for years as well. It's withstood hurricances, storms andyet it remains seemingly steadfast. That's a picture of my life is2008! LOL. I may been leaning a bit, but come STORMS, challenges,stress and strain, I've been able to hold my 'anchor' through GOD. So, with that, I wish you much peace, blessings, hope, happiness,prosperity and may your goals and dreams berealized. It's a BIG order, but we have a BIGGOD who can do it, if it's HIS will for us. Enjoy all your NEW YEARfestivities, and please, if you choose to go out and drink, arrangefor a designated driver in advance.
