Change Has Come!

Greetings all,

It's amazing how time flies! We at the end of January and so much has happened. We have a new President in the White House...Blessings to President Barack Obama! I made it to the Mall inauguration day, and I'm so glad I did. I planned to watch all the happenings on television. I really wasn't up to brave the crowd and the weather. Let me tell you folks, it was FRIGID that day!

Well my mom called and in a spontaneous move, suggested we head downtown to be part of history. It didn't take much nudging on her part. In fact, I was more than happy to be part of the mix. I received several text messages that morning from friends and family near and especially far. They expressed their sheer excitement and desire to be part of the mix. Well, hey...I was so close to the action, there was nothing that would keep me apart!

It was a beautiful experience. I'm so glad to have seen all the radiant faces, flushed from the cold weather, yet you could see the pride as we all shared a similar sense of euphoria.

We are realistic that indeed one man can't change the world, or can he? If President Barack Obama had the ability to inspire so many across the world, then yes, together WE CAN CHANGE the world.

I encourage you to take a lesson from this amazing man and run with it. We can all can continue to be an inspiration to people in our lives, at the job, in the grocery store. We don't have to be the president to make an impact, do we?
